Angie, as a native of Annapolis, founded AJK Events, LLC in January of 2011 because of her love of entertaining combined with a passion for planning and design.  She has been working in the field for over 10 years and believes that planning isn’t the only important detail for an event… it is all the small details that makes the entire event special. Angie has planned and executed logistics for her clients’ weddings, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, birthday’s, rehearsals, bar and bat mitzvah’s and anniversaries.  Angie’s attention to detail, organization and excellent vendor relationships makes her a leader in the industry and easy to work with.  Because she stays on the cutting edge of event planning, she was sought to teach the Event Planning class for Anne Arundel Community College.

I was running multiple events for my children’s school, my church, my community and was a site coordinator for the winter relief shelter each year for the Arundel House of Hope. I realized that not only was I able to handle all the events and details,  but that I loved it!!!! I love planning and organizing events, I love being able to help clients create amazing events, I enjoy watching guests arrive and gasp at the décor and watching guests laughing, dancing and enjoying themselves.

Angie is very down to earth and easy to talk to! She didn’t just feel like a “wedding planner” like we were only doing business, she also felt like a friend at times. “ – Jaime Lapinski

Allison joined AJK Events in 2012. She has been planning events for family and friends for over 5 years. Using all her skills from running a successful business, Allison has planned exciting private parties, company holiday parties, and weddings. She loves all the details that go into planning and designing an event and watching guests enjoy the event.

Samantha Ragone, Lead Planner

Samantha joined AJK Events a year ago and enjoys planning, designing and coordinating client’s weddings and private events. She really has a soft side for our military couples and enjoys the relationships she builds with our brides and grooms. Samantha enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and continuing her education to complete her degree. Samantha has been a wonderful addition to the AJK Events team, her dedication and strong work ethic make her a very strong addition to this team.
